Abstract

This research was motivated by the civic education which was considered boring because there was too much theory and not enough exploration of student activity in the lesson. This is reinforced by the fact that students are often sleepy, daydreaming, passive and lethargic when civic education learning takes place. The aim of this research is to determine students perceptions of civic education after innovating using wordwall games in the learning process. The method used uses observation, interviews, and a Likert scale. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this research show that there is an increase in enthusiasm and motivation for learning civic education after using the wordwall. The conclusion of this research is that students perceptions of civic education after using wordwalls in class IX SMPN 4 Sindangkerta show positive perceptions.
