Penguatan Karakter Religius Melalui Budaya Positif Khidmah Yaumiyyah di SMP Darul Falah 2

Abstract

Enhancing character development is the primary focus of this research. Tge phenomenon of moral degadration among students at SMP Darul Falah 2, including truancy, smoking, and verbal abuse, has raised concerns for the school. This study explores the impact of implementing a positive culture of Khidmah Yaumiyyah on strengthening student's religious character. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with subjects being students grades 7 to 9 at SMP Darul Falah 2 for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data was collected through naturalistic observation to observe student behavior in its natural context. The results indicate that consistent implementation of khidmah yaumiyyah has a positive impact of stundent's character and discipline. The study underscores the importance of character education through religious activities. Collaborative effort between the school, teachers, and parents to support this program are also crucial to its success. Thus, the implementation of khidmah yaumiyyah not only strengthens student's religious character but also has the potential to transform negative behaviors into positive ones within the school environment.
