Improving Emotional Regulation of Students at SMPN 2 Cihampelas Through the STOP Technique (Stop, Take a Breath, Observe, Proceed)

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the STOP technique in enhancing the emotional regulation abilities of students at SMPN 2 Cihampelas. Using a qualitative approach with participatory observation and in-depth interview methods, this research found that the STOP technique has a positive impact on students. They became more capable of recognizing their emotions, responding more calmly, and improving their problem-solving skills. These findings indicate that the STOP technique can be an effective intervention for enhancing students' mental health.
